They were giving away boxes with a couple of dozen little holes in their tops as door prizes, and explained how to use the golf tees and blue tack for painting. Now that little box usually has several golf tees stuck in it with miniature items in various stages of painting. I am still thinking about those legs and how to fix them. You know they'll drive me crazy otherwise! :-)Deborah Randolphhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10785563793295959835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6492976373044265184.post-71642581675239117452019-02-05T16:12:41.648-08:002019-02-05T16:12:41.648-08:00Deborah, your creativity at coming up with solutio...Deborah, your creativity at coming up with solutions to make these tiny half scale treasures consistently amazes me. :) Your candlesticks are a work of magic. What a great idea to use a golf tee for painting.. stealing this idea. :D I agree with Jodi the mantle is looking amazing the scarf is perfect. I agree the chair legs are not up to your usual perfect standard but as Jodi said.. at this scale fiddling with them without breaking them must be near impossible. On the upside the back and upholstery look fantastic. I would never attempt to carve wood at all let alone in this scale so bravo to you and your bravery! :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6492976373044265184.post-67245895956784071322019-02-04T22:35:34.330-08:002019-02-04T22:35:34.330-08:00Thank you! I like to think that they were collected over time and just added to the room to provide comfortable seating for all when the family was gathered together.Deborah Randolphhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10785563793295959835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6492976373044265184.post-5533917406831112602019-02-04T22:33:12.898-08:002019-02-04T22:33:12.898-08:00Thank you! I see what you mean about the legs, but working in this scale and making things look proportional and not breaking them must be so difficult! You always work it out though so I know you'll find just the right solution!<br />The candle holders are awesome, and the mantle looks amazing! The room is really coming together and it's great fun to look at each piece and remember all the great solutions you came up with to make them happen!Jodi Hipplerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17493172804253306940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6492976373044265184.post-64156038947294870992019-02-04T09:11:10.175-08:002019-02-04T09:11:10.175-08:00I'm amazed by those candlesticks!
